He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.

Connected to the Source

Something to note about Daniel and his companions: first, they did not just go with the flow; they didn't want to blend into the world they were living in. They wanted to honor God with their lives, so they refused the treasures of that world- the fine foods and wine the King had given to them. They set themselves apart. The second thing is, even when tested, they trusted in the source of their life, the LORD God, even when it could cost their life; He was their SOURCE. 

Here in Daniel 2:22, he says something that hits differently today. See, Daniel reminds us of this truth throughout this book: God is the source of everything- all knowledge, understanding, wisdom, secret knowledge; He holds the secrets, and not even darkness can hide them.   And you and I have access to them, access the SOURCE. 

Today our God-Shot is that we have access to the greatest source of power, of peace, of knowledge, of understanding, of provision, of success, of strength, of guidance; there is nothing that He cannot supply...   The question is, are you CONNECTED?

Lord, I thank you that there is not a problem to big for you, nothing that is beyond your wisdom and knowledge, and that if we lack wisdom you can supply it, if we are weak, you are strong, if we need peace in the storm, you can steady the storm, you have what we need, you are our source, thank you Lord that we can depend on you, you are faithful, in Jesus' name, Amen!
