His Way Is Better
Scripture:
Psalm 19:7-10
The law of the Lord is perfect,
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the [b]honeycomb.

His Way is Better
We are always looking for a better way, a better life, we look how we can become wiser, have greater understanding, how our lives could be better. Today, David reminds us that the way of the Lord is better, His commands, His law is perfect, it leads and directs our lives, they "enlightens our eyes" provide wisdom, understanding, they enrich our lives. He reminds us that His way is better than GOLD, better than anything you can find in the world.
When you seek the Lord you find everything you need.
The application is more of a discovery today, it is a shift, where you may have been looking to your skills, your understanding, your strength, todays shift is to look to the Lord, His way, His commands, they are better, they will enrich you life, they will give you life and life more abundant.
Look no further, God has all that you need.
Lord, keep us from folly, keep our eyes fixed on you, your ways, your plan, let our hearts be fully devoted to you, and your ways, may our delight be in you, in your commands, your precepts, you leading, may we always find our treasure in you Lord, we pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen
