What Do You See?

Scripture:

Job 19:20

25 I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth

What Do You See?

On your worst days, on the days when nothing has gone right, everything you touch goes badly, your friends, rather than lift you up, tell you how it's all your own fault, when you get passed up for a promotion, when your kids are making bad choices, when your in a disagreement with your spouse, and everything in your house is upside down, what do you see then?    Are you like Job this morning, through the cloudy day, can you see "the goodness of God?   Do you cling to the fact that you have a redeemer, someone who cares about your situation, be it big or small?  Is your HOPE found in Him?   See, that's Job today, although his life is upside down, he has lost everything, children, livelihood, health, even good friends, and yet he finds solace in the truth that God is his redeemer.   What do you see?

Our God-Shot today is, are you able to see the goodness of God in the midst of your trouble, or have your troubles stolen your attention, and your state is worse because you feel you have lost all hope.   Or are you like Job and you KNOW your Redeemer Lives?

Lord, give us eyes to see, ears to hear, a heart that pursues you, may we see your goodness all the days of our lives, my our trust always be in you and may we always declare that our Redeemer Lives, that we know that we know, you will come in our day of trouble, that you will redeem us from the pit, and that we will stand with you one day, in Jesus' name, Amen!
