Write It On The Walls

by Pastor Ken

Jesus had freed a man from demons, and the man who had experienced the miracle the Bible says he begged Jesus to let him go with Him.

I believe that when we experience miracles in our lives we should allow that miracle to impact the world and that is how we can truly go with Jesus. I believe that is what Jesus was telling this man.

Go Tell:

Tell it to your family
Tell it to your neighbors
Tell it to anyone who will listen

Tell them what?

What God has done for you
How Good God is in your life
What it means to you to follow

In Habakkuk 2:2 it says that we should take the message, we should make it plain, and then we should write it on the walls so people can see it.

Your experience with Christ, your testimony about Christ's work in your life is the best message people could hear.

3 Points:

Take the message:
Make it plain (simple, understandable)
Declare it to anyone who will listen

38 The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying, 39 “No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him. ~Luke 8:38

Declaring Your Faith

by Pastor Ken

Whoa, Whoa, wait a minute... Paul what do you mean? Interesting verse, Paul says that being saved is not just believing in Jesus and His Resurrection, Paul is saying that we need to "Openly Declare' it not only does he say it once but twice and the second time he states it he says that is how you know you are saved.

Question:

1. Are you openly declaring your faith in Jesus with others.
2. Does anyone know you are a believer

I believe Paul is stating something bold, he is saying that if you truly believe than you truly have been transformed by it and there is no way you should be keeping quite.

Its time to get back to our First Love and remember who saved us and what He saved us from and tell the world.

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Nothing Too hard

by Pastor Ken

Nothing Too hard

Often when we pray we do it with limitations based on our ability. We limit God by what we are capable of doing, but in reality God is the creator of the universe. He has the ability to accomplish anything in your life, no task too hard for God.

Today do you need healing, God can bring it.
Today do you need joy, God can provide it
Today do you need restoration, God can do it.

Nothing is too hard for God!

“O Sovereign lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!
JEREMIAH 32:17

No Looking Back

by Pastor Ken

When we make a commitment to Jesus and to the Kingdom of God, we are expected to keep our focus, we have received new life, become new creations.

Here in this portion of scripture Jesus is speaking to a working class of people who are familiar with farming, they knew what He was referring too..

A Farmer knows if he is to do his work well, he must look straight before him at the line of the furrow which he is making. To look back, while working, is to mar the work entirely. And Jesus said this disqualifies him for the work he has been set out to do.

Looking back at our past will kill our lives, both physically, spiritually and emotionally, like Lots wife who looked back and was turned to a pillar of salt, keeping our focus on the life that we had before Christ will only freeze us in the past and we wont move on to maturity, we won't experience the blessings God has for us and ultimately we will fall away.

Let's Keep Our Focus, Eyes Fixed on Jesus, Running the Race with Endurance, Keeping the Faith.

But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

I Will, Wait & No

by Pastor Ken

We often find it hard when we experience life, or when we pray for something why we don't see resolve quickly. The Bible says that God is an on time God (Ecclesiastes 3:11.) Because His wisdom and His understanding are beyond us and what we can comprehend, He knows the following in regards to our lives:

1. He knows when something is right for us.
2. He knows what is best for us.
3. He knows what will damage us.

Because He knows the following is true:
(Psalm 84:11 Says God withholds no good thing from us that means that He only withholds the things not good for us.)

1. When the time is right His answer is ( I WILL )
2. When we are not ready to handle it ( WAIT )
3. When its not good for us or will destroy our lives ( NO )

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
