Best Laid Plans
Little white fences, even from the time we are young we are taught to make a life in this world, yet the Bible tells us that we are ambassadors, sojourners, visitors just passing through on a mission.
Often we make our plans for this life, and forget that the most important thing is to make preparations for the next, its what we do for the Kingdom we belong too that matters most. A Kingdom that will not fade, will last forever, the very place God is, that is the future I plan and hope for.
The Psalmist reminds us that no amount of wealth or good doing or work we can do can "Redeem" us only God can "Redeem" us and it is a free gift that none should boast but that God would be glorified.
Lord may my plans be for you Kingdom, for the future you laid out before I was born, may I keep my heart true and my direction sure in you. May my feet always find direction in your light and may you lamp keep me in the straight and narrow. In the matchless name of Jesus ~Amen
6 They trust in their wealth
and boast of great riches.
7 Yet they cannot redeem themselves from death
by paying a ransom to God.
8 Redemption does not come so easily,
for no one can ever pay enough
15 But as for me, God will redeem my life.
He will snatch me from the power of the grave. Psalm 49:6,7,15
Jesus the Rock

- Are you being renewed by His Sacrafice?
- Are you being refreshed by His Presences?
- Have you allowed the Power of His Spirit Revive You?
Don't put it off. Do it now!
A lot of us put things off; we do just that, we say: not now, later, but I want to tell you some truth: "the when's" of life often don't come and then its too late.
If you don't know whether you will go to heaven when you leave this place, then take the advice of Proverbs 6:4 and don't put it off, do it now! You can know for sure today:
The Bible says:
- We all need a savior: (Romans 3:23)
- If we recognize that we are sinners and ask for forgiveness we will receive forgiveness (1 John 1:9)
- if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts Jesus is Lord then we will be saved: (Romans 10:9)
- Once we make those steps now is the real blessing, A relationship with the one who saved you Jesus Christ, we move on to greater understanding of who Christ is in our lives. ( Romans 5:1)
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
Don't put it off. Do it now!
Proverbs 6:4 Don't put it off. Do it now! Don't rest until you do.
The Lord Tests His Leaders

- We should be prepared to be tested
- We should be willing to directed
- We should be ready for success
God will start wtih vision, then with testing, supplying direction and if we submit to the process we will ultimately be successful.
Blessed Because We Believe
The amazing thing about this verse in John 20 is this: I believe, and I am more blessed because of it, although I have not physically seen Jesus with my eyes, I have seen Him in the very details of my life. I have experienced His power in my life:
I am blessed because: though I have never seen Him this is still true:
- I have received His salvation
- I have power to overcome
- I have every provision for everyday life.
I am blessed because I don't need to see Him to know Him and to experience His power and Presence in my life.
Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” John 20:29
